About Elizabeth

Background I have over 23 years combined work experience as a Counselor, Educator, Facilitator and Behavioral Healthcare Consultant. Nine years of this experience is Post Graduate. In addition to my private practice, I am a part-time middle school counselor for Salem-Keizer 24J School District. Additionally, I contract and consult for several Employee Assistance Programs and Oregon Department of Corrections. I specialize in counseling adolescents and adults ages 15 and up. Additionally I provide an Annual Women’s Wellness Retreat at the Oregon Coast and ongoing Women’s Wellness Coaching groups. Updated events and services are posted at www.fullcirclecounseling.com

Philosophy And Approach

I am very passionate about helping others discover their potential and life purpose. The clients I work with are typically motivated and prefer an integrative approach. They commonly query “what more can I do for my wellness’? In my private practice I prefer to use a humanistic, holistic, behavioral cognitive, solution focused “here and now” approach to Counseling. I am a Certified Circle of Life Health and Wellness Coach. I pull from a variety of theories and models to fit your needs. I believe that all the answers are within you and together we will create a plan to discover what you need to live a meaningful, healthy and purpose filled life. I will be happy to explain all of these styles of counseling to you. I comply with the Code of Ethics for Professional Counselors and will provide you with a copy of the Code of Ethics for Professional Counselors upon request.

Formal Education and Training and License

Westminster College Salt Lake City, Utah Psychology Major 1985-1987 Bachelor of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in addiction studies at the Union Institute and University, Cincinnati, Ohio 1993 Master of Science in Counseling, Western Oregon University, 1999 I am registered with the Oregon Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

Fees and Client Rights

Fee Schedule I charge $110.00 per 50 minute session. I accept most insurance reimbursement. Your co-payment for insurance or private pay is expected at the end of each session. I can work with you on payment plans if necessary. If you would like referrals to a low-cost counseling center, I am happy to provide you with that. Client Bill of Rights: As a client of a Licensee you have the following rights: *To expect that a licensee has met the minimal qualifications of training and experience required by state law;*To examine public records maintained by the Board and to have the Board confirm credentials of a licensee; *To obtain a copy of the Code of Ethics *To report complaints to the Board *To be informed of the cost of professional services before receiving the services;*To be assured of privacy and confidentiality while receiving services as defined by rule and law, including the following exceptions: a.) Reporting suspected child abuse; b.) Reporting imminent danger to client or others; c.) Reporting information required in court proceedings or by client’s insurance company, or other relevant agencies; d.) Providing information concerning licensee case consultation or supervision; e.) Defending claims brought by client against licensee; *To be free from being the object of discrimination on the basis of race, religion, gender, or other unlawful category while receiving services.
